Position Description:
Imagine One Technology & Management, Ltd. is seeking a Network Engineer, Senior, contingent upon award of the associated work. This position will be based in Washington D.C..
The Senior Network Engineer will provide enterprise-level network engineering support for DoD environments, including architecture design, implementation, modernization, and sustainment of secure WAN/LAN infrastructures across classified and unclassified systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain enterprise WAN/LAN network architectures.
- Implement and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and secure network devices.
- Support network modernization and infrastructure upgrades.
- Perform network troubleshooting, fault isolation, and performance optimization.
- Develop and maintain network diagrams and configuration documentation.
- Implement STIGs and support cybersecurity compliance activities.
- Coordinate with Government stakeholders to support network integration and sustainment.
Desired Experience:
- 10+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
- Experience supporting DoD or Navy network environments.
- Experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies.
- Experience with firewall configuration (ASA, FirePower, SRX, etc.).
- Experience supporting ATO accreditation efforts.
- Familiarity with DISA or Joint network environments.
Education Requirements:
- Master's degree preferred.
- Bachelor's degree plus four (4) additional years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a Master's degree.
Minimum Certifications:
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)/Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices II (ICND2) or equivalent (e.g. Juniper Networks and CompTIA).
- IAT Level III at contract award (IAT certification in accordance with DODD 8140).
Security Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen.
- Active Secret clearance required.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI clearance, if required by tasking.
