MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Human Resource Analyst to join our Red Team in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Serve as a consultant to the Director(s) on HR programs, interpreting IC/DoD policies, providing procedural guidance, and developing solutions for complex organizational challenges.
  • Assist with planning and monitoring the team manning strategy, conducting workforce requirement studies, and processing all position descriptions and agreements.
  • Administer and review evaluations, hiring authorizations, onboarding/offboarding, and other staff duties with a "right-the-first-time" focus to eliminate administrative rework.
  • Track and file SF-50s, vacancy announcements, and personnel records; manage arrival/departure data for military and civilian detailees and Joint Duty Augmentees (JDA).
  • Provide end-to-end processing and research for Civilian Honorary and Impact Awards, ensuring strict compliance with WHS, OSD, or ODNI submission guidelines.
  • Develop and implement IC/DoD-aligned training plans while providing personnel-specific insight into budget analysis and future year spend plans.
  • Support general office functions including escorting visitors, maintaining SOPs, and submitting trip reports for working groups and analytic-associated travel.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience and at least 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, ideally within an HR Shared Services or military S1/G1 environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to deliver error-free results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, including experience forming strong customer relationships and drafting executive-level briefings.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and enterprise-level collaborative tools (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence).


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree
  • Military S1 at the battalion level or higher.
  • Military S1 at the battalion level or higherExperience upporting a dynamic, senior workforce within the Intelligence Community or DoD.
  • Professional HR certifications such as aPHR, PHR, or SPHR.


Clearance Requirements:
  • Current/active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
