Markon's partner company is seeking for an experience Cryptologic Liaison Officer. The Cryptologic Liaison Officer (Level 3) provides senior-level cryptologic planning and operational support to a Fort Meade-based customer and associated Department of Defense (DoD), Joint, and Interagency partners. This role supports integrated planning, exercises, and mission rehearsal activities to ensure cryptologic capabilities are effectively represented and applied in support of priority operational plans and training objectives. The Liaison Officer serves as a trusted advisor and representative to senior military and civilian stakeholders across multiple planning and operational forums.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of cryptologic support plans aligned with integrated, Joint, Service, and Interagency planning processes.
  • Contribute to the development of Cryptologic Functional Support Plans (FSPs) supporting priority DoD contingency plans, operational plans, campaign plans, and joint exercises.
  • Participate in planning processes associated with the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) to ensure cryptologic equities are properly integrated.
  • Conduct recurring coordination and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including Combatant Command planning staffs, Joint Staff elements, Combat Support Agencies, Cryptologic Centers, Service Cryptologic organizations, and other mission partners.
  • Represent the customer in a wide range of planning, coordination, and exercise forums with professionalism and confidence.
  • Understand and articulate organizational structure, functions, capabilities, and cryptologic products related to assigned mission and target sets.
  • Support mission rehearsal exercises required to certify deploying warfighters, in accordance with Joint Staff and Combatant Command requirements.
  • Lead or support operational planning teams composed of government and partner organization personnel.
  • Fully participate in Joint Training System activities, including joint training events and exercises sponsored by senior DoD leadership and Combatant Commands.
  • Utilize cryptologic mission simulation tools to accurately portray signals intelligence (SIGINT) and cybersecurity capabilities during exercise execution.
  • Train Service-level SIGINT and cybersecurity analysts, joint staffs, and forward operating forces to effectively integrate cryptologic capabilities into operational planning and execution.
  • Support exercise planning conferences and working groups to facilitate cryptologic support aligned with Combatant Command training objectives, with a focus on assigned geographic or functional commands.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with senior military officers and civilian leaders across organizational boundaries.


Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph through Fort Meade Customer
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience supporting military and/or government cryptologic missions, including operational planning and/or exercises.
  • Experience supporting Joint, Service, or Interagency planning processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in high-visibility, senior-level environments.
  • Strong interpersonal, briefing, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of integrated planning and operational teams.

Preferred
  • Experience providing cryptologic support to military operations.
  • Familiarity with cryptologic support to Combatant Commands.
  • Prior experience supporting large-scale joint or combined exercises.


Salary Range

USD $170,000.00 - USD $240,000.00 /Yr.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
