QSI is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join the Correspondence Unit supporting our Government client in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have strong written communication skills and the ability to produce clear, accurate, and well-structured correspondence in a fast-paced environment.
The Visa Assistant provides administrative and visa-related support essential to the effective operation of the Visa Office (VO). This position plays a critical role in the correspondence process and requires close coordination with team members who rely on timely, precise, and professional written communication. The successful candidate must be dependable, responsive, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and discretion.
In this role, the Visa Assistant supports Government staff in managing correspondence, documentation, and case-related processes. Day-to-day oversight and guidance will be provided by a designated Government manager.
An active Secret Clearance is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and process official correspondence related to visa matters
- Provide administrative and case-related support to Government personnel
- Coordinate with internal team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely processing
- Maintain accurate and organized records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with established procedures and quality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of VO operations
Education / Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree, and;
- Four (4) years of general office experience, including;
- Three (3) years of experience utilizing a variety of office software, specifically: MS Word, MS Power Point, MS SharePoint, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
- The Government may allow the following qualifications substitutions for this position: 4 years of additional general office or administrative experience may be substituted for a BS/BA degree.
