Description:You will be a Senior Quality Engineer for the PAC 3 Missile and Launcher Evolutionary Development and Transition to Production team. Our team is responsible for delivering cutting edge missile and launcher solutions that meet rigorous quality and performance standards.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Quality Engineer you will be responsible for leading quality initiatives across the development program, partnering with engineering, manufacturing, subcontracting, program management, suppliers, and the customer to ensure quality objectives are met throughout development, testing, and transition to production.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Developing program plans and performing Product Development Process assessments.
• Implementing and tracking quality requirements and development process requirements, conducting design reviews and process assessments, reducing design and process risk, and driving closure of non conformances during product development.
• Root cause investigations and coordinating corrective actions to prevent test failures, ensure manufacturability, meet development process requirements and schedule deadlines, and enable a seamless transition to production.
• Support engineering with development of Standard Operating Procedures for development builds and testing, and reviewing process records to confirm compliance to requirements.
• Providing technical liaison for quality engineering matters, including support of engineering prototype builds and testing, product qualification, process qualification, etc...
• Collaborate with cross-functional peers to ensure all quality requirements are proactively worked and completed in a timely fashion with precision.
• Material Review Board activities and driving closure of nonconformance documents.
• Supporting failure investigations and contributing to Corrective Action Board.
• Earned Value Control Account Management.
• Preparing program presentations for senior leaders and customers, and contributing to strategic quality initiatives.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company sponsored interim secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree or higher in STEM, or equivalent years of experience.
-Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
-Ability to travel up to 25%.
-Demonstrated understanding of AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
-Experience in product development, design for manufacturing, and transition to production.
-Experience with manufacturing of electrical/electronic hardware and electro-mechanical assemblies.
-Demonstrated understanding of IPC standards (IPC-A-600, etc...) and experience inspecting and troubleshooting electrical/electronic hardware and electro-mechanical assemblies.
-Quality experience with the use of inspection/measuring/testing equipment/gages and calibration.
-Ability to interpret drawings and specifications and industry standards.
-Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming product.
-Quality experience working with Engineering in prototype labs.
-Experience in developing and reviewing quality requirements, procedures, control plans, and work instructions.
-Demonstrated understanding of procedure/process assessment and product audit techniques.
-Experience with root cause investigation, corrective action, and preventive action using tools like 8D, 5-Why, Fault Tree, FMEA, Standard Work, Control Plans, etc... and ability to collaboratively solve problems for improving designs and manufacturing processes.
-Strong project management skills, with demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
-SAP and APRISO experience.
-Experience working with US Government Department of War customers.
Desired Skills:
-Bachelors degree or higher in STEM.
-Certifications: ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA), Lean Six Sigma, MRBQ.
-Experience with performing First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements.
-Experience performing Design/Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (D/PFMEA).
-Windchill / Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system experience.
-Tableau or other data analytics software experience.
-Strong familiarity with Production Operations.
-Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
