The Work
This role will combine both Project Engineer and Test Engineer skills.
As a Project engineer with aircrew member experience or engineer with experience on simulation devices, our ideal candidate has familiarity and ability to work with AFSOC, AETC, and ACC commands. This position reports directly to the Systems Engineering Manager and perform system design, verification, testing and evaluations on Aircrew Training Devices (ATDs).
As a key member of our Systems Engineering team you will:
• Design, develop, and verify ATD hardware/software solutions.
• Schedule, execute, and analyze functional, automated, and manual tests; support SIMCERTs.
• Author/review test engineering CDRLs; create regression test procedures.
• Coordinate Design Request and Discrepancy testing; ensure software under configuration control.
• Log, track, and resolve all discrepancies; act as liaison for engineering, CM, and customers.
• Translate aircrew feedback into actionable requirements and improvements.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and milestones for trainer modifications.
• Evaluate SRS artifacts for completeness and testability; produce design review materials.
• Arrange labor, schedules, and equipment for integration and test events.
This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain an Interim Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• Systems Engineering Writing Skills
• Requirements analysis, establishing requirements traceability/flow down, preparing specifications, and managing requirements
• Test Procedure Creation and Execution
Desired Skills:
• Previous Simulator Training Device experience
• MBSE and Cameo model experience
• Experience with DOORS Next
• Experience working in classified/access controlled facilities
• Experience working with Projectors and Visual Systems
• Security + certification
• Knowledge of AFSOC Fixed Wing C-130J Platforms
• Previous experience coordinating with program SMEs, engineers and field service technicians
