You will be the Project Engineer for the F-35 Line of Business Project Engineering Office which is responsible for supporting the Readiness team within Engineering & Technology, managing technical scope, and ensuring disciplined project performance.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Project Engineer you will be responsible for delivering accurate cost and schedule insight, safeguarding baseline compliance, and driving continuous improvement across the Readiness domain.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain accurate Estimate To Complete/Earned-Value Management (ETC/EVM) metrics across all impacted contracts.

  • Lead Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) updates and certify that each project work package conforms to the approved baseline and LM compliance requirements.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, schedule, and cost risks associated with production.

  • Engage senior leadership, program management, sustainment, and stakeholder groups to align objectives and drive decisions.

  • Propose and implement process-improvement initiatives that streamline workflows, reduce waste, and boost efficiency.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.
Basic Qualifications:
• BS in Engineering or alternate STEM major with technical experience

• Project Engineering/technical experience

• Secret or higher security clearance

• Five + years of experience in related field.
Desired Skills:
• Experience in EVMS and / or CAM certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• F-35 Program Experience.
• Experience developing project plans, basis-of-estimates, and integrated master schedules.
• Experience working with PDM and MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel).
• Experience with BOEs and/or proposals
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
