You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Asc for the PAC-3 Command Launch System (CLS) Program Manufacturing Engineering team. Our team supports all aspects of manufacturing and assembly of the PAC-3 CLS through make sites and external suppliers. This work is essential for the program to execute current contract requirement as well as capture future business for the program. The position will serve as a Manufacturing Engineering point of contact to the other functions. Frequent communication and collaboration with other disciplines including Design Engineering, Production Operations, Quality Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Finance, Production Planning and Control, Contracts, Master Planning, and Program Management are required. Experience building positive relationships, communicating across functional and physical boundaries, managing cost, schedule, quality, and safety is critical for the role.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Working Notice of Change (NOC)
- Working with the Production Planning and Control (PP&C) group, shop manufacturing engineers from different Lockheed sites, and engineering.
- Work on PAC-3 program tooling. Ability to obtain Security Clearance.
This position is located in Arlington, TX. Discover Arlington.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline
• Knowledge of Manufacturing/Assembly/Machining
• GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) experience
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
• Hands-on experience in tooling and fixturing
• Experience in reading/reviewing engineering drawings
• Strong communication skills
• Internship Experience in Manufacturing

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
