You will be the Senior Reliability Engineer for the Reliability & Test Engineering team. Our team drives product reliability from concept to field, delivering robust designs, rigorous testing, and data driven improvements that keep Lockheed Martin systems flying safely and on schedule
What You Will Be Doing
As the Senior Reliability Engineer you will own the reliability agenda across the entire product lifecycle. You'll partner with cross functional engineers, influence technical boards, and turn reliability data into concrete actions that enhance performance, reduce risk, and meet contractual commitments.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Lead Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analyses (FMECA) and produce reliability block diagrams and quantitative predictions.
• Create, execute, and track reliability growth plans; perform growth analysis to ensure program contracts are satisfied.
• Support design reviews, test events, and configuration control processes (ECP, CSB, CCB).
• Participate in Corrective Action Boards (CAB) and Failure Review Boards (FRB) to drive root cause resolution.
• Analyze FRACAS trends, prioritize failure modes, and recommend corrective actions that prevent recurrence.
• Build mathematical models to flag high risk units, batches, or processes and propose design or formulation changes.
• Define and implement statistical process control procedures and test methods to meet reliability targets.
• Compile performance reports, process control statistics, and detailed reliability documentation for stakeholders.
• Collaborate daily with engineers, program managers, and customers, delivering clear analytical input and written reports.
• Travel occasionally to field sites, test facilities, or customer meetings to support reliability initiatives.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Experience with performing reliability predictions and analyses.
• Experience with reliability FRACAS and statistical data mining.
• Experience with the FMECA process.
• Ability to manage subcontractors in the Reliability field of expertise.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships.
• Additionally, candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, technical writing experience, and an ability to perform oral presentations in front of large groups.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college with 3 years of professional experience.
Desired Skills:
• Active Secret Clearance
• Strong electrical background with a good mechanical understanding
• Practical hands on experience with hardware test and troubleshooting.
• Analytical thinker with a demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation.
