CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Job Summary:
The Integration Engineer - Submarine Combat Systems, will be responsible for integration of software components into the CIS Linux-based Common Computing Environment (CCE). The candidate will also be responsible for improving the software build process along with setup and configuration of hardware/software test environments.
Essential Capabilities:
- Experience integrating containerized software components in a distributed computing environment. Knowledge of containerized environments and Kubernetes container orchestration.
- Skilled in development of scripts to automate installation, test, and monitoring of software components.
- Ability to develop automated build processes including continuous quality and cyber analysis. Experience in DevSecOps and Agile methodologies.
- Configuration setup of servers and network switches.
- Advanced troubleshooting techniques for isolation of software and hardware problems.
Desired Capabilities:
- Experience working with Docker and/or Podman containers.
- Experience with RKE2 Kubernetes distribution.
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux Operating Systems versions 8-10.
- Experience with C/C++ or other high order language.
- Proficient in Python and/or Bash scripting.
- Red Hat System Administrator/Engineer certification.
