Markon is seeking a highly organized and technically savvy Systems Integrator to serve as a Build Center Lead / Lab Manager. This role is responsible for managing a build center environment that supports the successful build, testing, packaging, and final disposition of customer equipment in support of Sponsor projects.

The ideal candidate will bring strong coordination, planning, and stakeholder engagement experience, along with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily operations of the build center/lab environment
  • Oversee the build, testing, packaging, tracking, and disposition of customer equipment
  • Support project planning and requirements gathering efforts for Sponsor initiatives
  • Provide coordination and support for technical efforts within the Group
  • Represent the Sponsor in mission planning and execution activities
  • Develop and deliver briefings, presentations, and project status reports
  • Create, update, and maintain project documentation and deliverables
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring changes are incorporated and communicated effectively
  • Maintain and update SharePoint records; coordinate with engineers on system modifications and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate with Logistics and Procurement teams for equipment quotes, purchasing, receiving, and shipping


Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph
  • Ability to be onsite in Springfield, VA for first 6 months relocating to the Dulles Corridor
  • Experience managing lab, build center, or technical operations environments
  • Demonstrated experience supporting technical teams and system integration efforts
  • Strong project coordination and scheduling experience
  • Experience developing briefings, reports, and technical documentation
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, logistics, procurement, and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Sponsor or government programs
  • Familiarity with equipment lifecycle management (procurement through disposition)
  • Experience working in secure or regulated environments
  • Experience with SharePoint administration or collaboration platforms


Salary Range

USD $140,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
