Help
- You will plan, coordinate, manage, and oversee the successful accomplishment of all shipboard and shore-site installations.
- You will execute policies and procedures as delegated by the Integrated Training Systems (ITS) Alteration Installation Team (AIT) Manager for shipboard and shore-site training system installations.
- You will provide oversight for the Alteration Installation Team (AIT) for each shipboard and shore-based installation.
- You will be responsible for ITS installations, contractor oversight, and communications for all aspects of shipboard and shore site installations.
- You will be responsible for production planning, maintaining schedules, quality assurance, communicating with ships' force and program stakeholders (oral and written).
- You will negotiate funding as required, in/out brief ships' chain of command (O5 and above), provide surveillance reports and audits, participate in daily production meetings and submit daily situation reports.
- You will conduct personnel oversight of all AIT members assigned to the installation including, training and development, staffing, resourcing, travel, conflict management and performance.
- You will maintain quality assurance standards and AIT compliance during installations, ensuring appropriate quality oversight is maintained during installation.
- You will report and respond to deficiencies and investigate and report significant problems throughout the installation.
- You will be responsible for the safety of all government and contractor personnel supporting installations.
- You will provide the draft of the Completion Report Message at the out brief, ensuring all training to be provided at the time of installation has been accomplished and documented.
- You will collaborate with other functional areas in the ITS program such as engineering, fleet support, integrated logistics, test and evaluation, acquisition and production.
