Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency, is seeking a Sr. IT Network & Cloud Engineer to join our Client's team.

Overview

Our Client is seeking a highly skilled, polished, reliable, and experienced Senior IT Engineer to join our dynamic IT engineering and consulting team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in multiple environments simultaneously across a variety of industries and clients. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, adapts quickly to different systems, and delivers a polite, professional, and white-glove client experience. In addition to strong technical skills, this role requires the ability to provide high quality service and client consulting skills, such as problem-solving skills, issue management and resolution, and effective communication. We seek candidates who are highly organized, very responsible, great with teamwork and collaboration, and someone who strives for excellence in their work as a point of pride.

Key Technical Responsibilities

-Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 IT support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and user issues across diverse client environments.

-Install, configure, and support systems across Microsoft, Google Workspace, macOS, and Windows environments.

-Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all steps related to onboarding, offboarding, and laptop provisioning.

-Support networking and cybersecurity troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, switches, firewalls, VPN, access issues, etc.)

-Lead the scoping, design, and implementation of IT projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.

-Utilize in-depth knowledge of Microsoft and Google ecosystems, including Azure, Office 365, and Google Workspace

-Implement and manage Identity Providers (IdPs) and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions to ensure secure and efficient access management.

-Implement and manage highly secure wired and wireless network infrastructure.Implement data backup and disaster recovery solutions as per client requirements.

-Utilize in-depth knowledge of virtualization solutions including Hyper-V, ESX, Azure, and AWS.

-Administer Kandji/Iru, Intune (or equivalent MDM solution) for endpoint, device, and application management, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

-Ensure IT systems and processes adhere to relevant compliance standards. Conduct regular assessments and implement necessary controls to maintain compliance.

-Conduct regular audits of IT systems to assess security, performance, and compliance, and implement necessary remediation.

-Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, policies and procedures, and provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders.

-Lead and mentor junior engineers and consultants, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

-Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure timely delivery and integration of IT solutions.

Key Consulting Responsibilities

-Deliver a polished, professional client experience with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\

-Track multiple priorities and communicate timelines, dependencies, and key deadlines to relevant stakeholders.

-Strong responsibility, accountability, responsiveness, follow-through, and organizational skills.

-Strong vendor management.Ability to partner with and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

-Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

-Continuously expand your technical knowledge, including learning unfamiliar systems and processes.

Core Qualifications

-15-20+ years of experience in IT consulting.

-Cross-platform technical proficiency/expertise across Microsoft Technologies, Google Workspace/Google Cloud, AWS, Identity Providers (IdPs), Endpoint Management/MDMs, Network Management, Cloud Servers and Solutions, Cybersecurity, and Data Backup/Disaster Recovery (BCDR).

-Proven ability to scope, design, and implement projects in complex IT environments.

Preferred Qualification

Experience with compliance frameworks (such as CIS, NIST 800-171, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, SOC2, and SEC) is highly preferred.

-Certifications a plus: GC: Google Cloud Professional | Microsoft: Azure Solutions Architect | Security: Okta Certified Administrator | Networking: CompTIA Network+/ CCNP, NIST 800-171/CMMC.

Security Clearance Required: Secret (will consider Interim Secret)
