Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join our Client's team.
The role involves tuning and optimizing cybersecurity tools such as ESS, Elastic, ConfigOS, and Tanium to enhance system performance and threat detection capabilities.
The candidate will be responsible for creating custom dashboards to visualize security data, ensuring quick identification of issues and trends.
They will also integrate various security products, ensuring seamless communication and data flow across the infrastructure. Key tasks include troubleshooting and resolving issues related to these tools, as well as managing upgrades and deployments to ensure the latest features and security patches are implemented effectively.

Pay Range: $55/hr-$63.50/hr

Basic Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility clearance required to start
- IAT Level II/ IAM Level I DoD 8570 certification (Sec+ CE or similar)
- Windows/RHEL System admin experience, installing, tuning; troubleshooting Cyber Tools to include ESS/HBSS, ConfigOS, Splunk/Elastic etc.
- Configuring, running, and scripting audit tools.
- Knowledge of Software Assurance (SwA) static and dynamic code analysis (e.g. Fortify)
Technical Experience:
- Career level typically with an advanced degree and 3+ years experience or bachelors with 5+ years experience or equivalent
- Wide application of principles, theories, and concepts in their field and provides solutions to a wide range of difficult problems with imaginative and thorough solutions
- Works under general direction, and results are reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives
- Failure to achieve results normally results in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources
- Frequent internal and external customer contacts and represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
