Boeing is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technical Integrator to support F/A-18 and EA-18G Service Life Modification Programs in San Antonio, TX or Jacksonville, FL.

As Senior Technical Integrator, you will be the lead technical focal for the execution of the F/A-18 SLM and be the primary technical point of contact for the EA-18G programs development and implementation. Support a dynamic team of Engineers and Technical Integrators, driving efforts to define, stabilize, and improve the production system for the SLM Program and build on these principles when defining requirements and processes for EA-18G inductions. By leveraging your expertise and innovative thinking, you will assist the team in identifying inefficiencies, developing robust solutions, and implementing process improvements that enhance productivity and quality ensuring customers' needs are met. This role not only emphasizes technical and leadership excellence but also champions a culture of continuous improvement, empowering the teams to achieve operational excellence and deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced aerospace environment. Preference will be given to those candidates with experience on F/A-18, MRO programs, and interaction with the customer community (USN/DoD). Knowledge of Boeing processes, demonstrated working relationships with internal partners and experience overseeing contracted program and engineering performance is highly valued.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Support Production Engineering and Technical Integration teams at all SLM sites, Provide technical oversight of all repair and modification activities across all locations where SLM is performed.
  • Primary technical point of contact for EA-18G life extension execution, support G SLAP analysis activity to ensure anticipated work scope is understood, risks identified and mitigated.
  • Research and Develop program execution plans for EA-18G life extension site stand up, establish basis of estimates, statement of work development, proposals and contract negotiations.
  • Active supporting member of the F/A-18 SLM Material Review Board (MRB)
  • Define operational goals and necessary resources for projects and processes to ensure program requirements are achieved on time.
  • Develop key working relationships with the PMA-265 and NAVAIR engineering customer, communicate priority for all customer approvals to prevent and alleviate production delays, work stoppages or reduce cost.
  • Establish metrics and briefs tracking engineering precedence usage, engineering analysis status, and implementation of process improvements.
  • Support SLM contracting activities providing Basis of Estimates, statement of work revisions, proposal and negotiations with USN customer.
  • Define aircraft work scope requirements using aircraft configuration data, deferred repair requirements from SLM pregrooming and aircraft logbooks.
  • Track aircraft repairs and maintenance during SLM, provide technical data packages to support delivery extending aircraft flight hours, O level maintenance and other USN inspection credit.
  • Continuous communications with NAMCE and PMA-265 on received aircraft material condition SLM pre grooming activities, provide recommendations to improve material condition and reduce workload at SLM.
  • Provide technical support to suppliers by providing dispositions of nonconforming products, clarity of engineering requirements and technical evaluations of proposals.
  • Oversee and approve technical approaches, products, and processes for the SLM program.


This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science from an accredited course of study, in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications.
  • 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
  • Possess or able to obtain MRB authority
  • Proven experience in leading engineering teams and projects.
  • Strong understanding of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Travel up to 25%


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience on the F/A-18 SLM program.
  • Established working relationships with PMA-265 and NAVAIR engineering
  • Possess MRB authority for F/A-18 SLM or other St Louis programs
  • Possess NAVAIR Delegated Engineering authority for the F/A-18 E/F and EA-18G
  • Knowledge of the F/A-18 SLM program organization, program goals, and requirements
  • Familiarity with critical path methodology and project leadership principles.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with initial development of programs and defining engineering requirements

Pay Summary Range:

$154,700-$209,300
