We have an exciting opportunity for an engineer to join the Integration Testing group in Poway, CA. This position is an excellent fit for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment with hands-on access to our industry-leading RPA platform, MQ-9B. The engineer will execute Systems Integration Lab testing of ground station interfaces, flight critical functions, and reconnaissance payload features before software is released. This includes working with hardware, software, networked computer system solutions, and teaming with coworkers to develop effective approaches for resolving a wide range of difficult engineering problems.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform Test activities and determine/develop various approaches to achieve test goals and help guide the completion of laboratory integration testing.
- Act as test engineer during test operations. Test duties include system level testing of hardware and software with emphasis placed on test asset coordination, conducting systems integration lab tests, and generation of test documentation.
- Support test plan working groups and technical reviews
- Collaborate with software developers and engineering leads. Assist software engineers with test setup, and foster system knowledge sharing.
- Adhere to development processes using established methods and tools.
- Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the company.
Job Qualifications
- Typically requires a bachelors or masters degree in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and two or more years of engineering experience with a bachelors degree.
- Degree in computer engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering is desired
- Must have a working knowledge of both windows based and Linux based operating systems, along with a general understanding of networking architecture and concepts.
- Prior experience in a Test and Integration role for manned and/or unmanned aircraft platforms, a working knowledge of the National Airspace System, and UAS operating rules is desired.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance is required.
