Job Qualifications
This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of ground support equipment and tool control activities. Plans the activities of the group to ensure smooth flow of work and continuous operation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversees the daily operation of personnel to provide service, repair and maintenance of aircraft ground support equipment (GSE) as required.
- Oversees the daily operation of personnel to provide tracking, repair, maintenance, and calibration of aircraft tools and test equipment as required.
- Assigns tasks, reviews work, and provides direction to ensure efficient operations and objectives are met.
- May develop new or revise existing processes and procedures.
- Develops and maintains databases, reports and records.
- Represents the group as a primary contact with internal and external representatives.
- May make internal and external presentations.
- Participates in the planning, attraction, selection, retention, and development of human resources to ensure the availability of the required staff.
- Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
- Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
- Other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications
- Typically requires education or formal training equivalent to the completion of an associate's degree in a related discipline and six or more years of progressive experience in ground support activities.
- Must demonstrate an in-depth understanding of GSE principles, concepts, and practices.
- Must have proven leadership skills including organization, planning, scheduling and coordinating workloads to meet established deadlines.
- Must be able to understand new concepts and apply them in an evolving environment.
- Must possess:
- The ability to resolve moderately complex management and technical problems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report and present findings.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all levels of employees, management, and outside representatives.
- Knowledge of computer operations and applications related to the position.
- Ability to obtain and maintain SEC clearance is required.
- Ability to work independently and lead in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required.
