Koniag Integration Solutions, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Base Manager to support KINS and our government customer. This position is a full time in-office position and requires the candidate to be able to maintain a SECRET Level Clearance.

Base Manager will plan and direct program activities, interface with clients and provide Management oversight to TDSSe3i projects for their assigned base(s).

  • The TDSSe2 Base General Manager is a recognized leader and authority in the company in overall TDSSe2 Project Management Expertise for the assigned base(s).
  • Support operational tasks for base(s) including facilities, equipment, and supplies.
  • Interpret and assess continual requirements to determine staffing and performance schedules.
  • Support Management on program communication with the customer including RFP questions, transition plans, status reports, contract modifications, get-well plans, and updates.
  • Support proposal evaluation, preparation, and submission.
  • Support staffing analysis, interview, selection, and performance management for all staff assigned to base(s).
  • Submit security paperwork and facilitate GFE, government training and base access issues.
  • Review and approve timecards, expense reports, travel requests.
  • Coordinate and schedule employee training and meetings with Project Leads.
  • Review project status and support Project Leads.
  • Contribute on a multifunctional project team responsible for development of the Project Plans and Implementation Strategies.
  • Lead a Project Team through a planned project through to completion while meeting both cost and schedule targets.
  • Authorized access to classified information; active security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance.
  • Direct the work effort of internal staff, suppliers, and customers.
  • Provide leadership and direction in negotiation, building consensus and achieving compromise.
  • Develop and manage complex project to plan.
  • Project scheduling, resource allocations and budgeting including a thorough review of the qualifications and availability of corporate and employee resources to ensure that the right people are assigned to a project for the right length of time.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:
  • Accredited bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 10 plus years of progressively responsible experience in Integrated Logistics Support for the USAF and complex programs including several task orders.
  • Experience with DoD in a Military, civilian, or contract position supporting DoD programs.
  • Working knowledge of military industry and standards for product delivery.
  • Working knowledge of all technical data and other guidance documents which govern the preparation of all types of Air Force Technical orders, to include technical manual contract requirements (TMCR)/performance work statements and digital requirements documents.
  • Proposal review and development experience.
  • Extensive personnel management experience.
  • Extensive understanding of complex program concepts and applications including project scheduling, resource allocations and budgeting.


Required Skills and Competencies:
  • Excellent technical writing, briefing, and facilitation skills.
  • Requires a self-starter with strong leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated skill in negotiation, building consensus and achieving compromise.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage a complex project to plan.
  • Demonstrated Technical Leadership Skills.
  • Strong leadership, Project Management and Business Management skills are essential.
  • Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to work independently and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Dependable attendance.
  • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person status.


Desired Skills and Competencies:
  • S1000D experience.
  • SGML, Contenta, ETIMS experience.


Security Requirement:

  • Candidates must be a US Citizen with the ability to be approved for an active Secret Level Clearance.


Office Location and Travel

This position is an in-office position located in Warner Robins, GA.

Minimal travel may be required.
