MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidate must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Air National Guard. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion).

Minimum Military Grade - Amn (E-2) immediately promotable to A1C (E-3)
GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Must possess general experience, education or training which has provided the skill to locate and tie in the electrical systems with the aircraft armament, electronics, and instrument systems; adjust and calibrate the components of the various electrical systems; and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics.
WG-10 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess specialized experience in installing, maintaining, repairing and modifying electrical systems and major substation components of electrical system; diagnosing malfunctions and determining remedy when complex relationships exists among different electrical system circuits requiring knowledge of all electrical units and systems and diagnosing malfunctions and determining remedy when complex relationships exists among different electrical system circuits requiring knowledge of all electrical units and systems. This specialized experience also provided knowledge of setup and operation of computerized multiple circuit analyzing equipment in manual, semiautomatic, or automatic mode to run existing and new (not fully debugged) diagnostic programs to test and analyze aircraft electrical circuitry and interconnecting cabling of systems such as navigational computers, radar, and related equipment and to repair discrepancies.

- Performs maintenance, inspects, modifies, tests, services, troubleshoots, isolates malfunctions, and repairs the aircraft electrical/environmental systems and other aircraft systems.
- Performs intermediate maintenance on cryogenic storage containers.
- Maintains and operates various types of test equipment such as digital and analog multimeters, frequency meters, constant speed drive test stands, voltmeters, ammeters, etc.
- Performs precise and advanced wiring maintenance procedures on aircraft and debriefs aircrews on the electrical/environmental systems.
- Provides on-the-job training to lower graded personnel or to newly assigned personnel regardless of grade.
- Requisitions, processes, and accounts for supply assets as required by the repairable processing system.
- Complies with safety, fire, security, and housekeeping regulations and ensures that material and equipment are properly stored, protected, maintained and secured.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Conditions of employment
- Employment can be terminated with a 30 day notice.
- In the event a permanent (Tenure 1 or 2) employee is selected, and is willing to accept the indefinite appointment, that employee will relinquish permanent status.
- Management has the right to convert this position to permanent status without re-advertising.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position.
