As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe and report unusual activity, and communicate clearly while delivering customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or suspicious activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional support when needed and completing required notifications.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location and assignment.
• Support access control by checking credentials, confirming visitor authorization, managing sign-in and/or badge processes, and directing individuals to approved destinations.
• Complete detailed shift documentation including patrol logs, incident reports, and equipment checks, and communicate observations and issues to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
