Intel's Foundry Technology Development Yield organization is seeking a Process Integration and Yield Technician who is passionate, innovative, and results-oriented to join teams who develop, implement, optimize, and maintain metrology factory equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing for foundry customers. The technician will both support fab operations for metrology equipment while working closely with equipment development, operations, automation, and vendor engineers support operations and identify improvements and efficiencies for end to end foundry solutions.
The candidate should be excited to work in a fast-paced environment where flexibility and adaptability is key to their success. Ability to learn rapidly in a complex and rapidly changing environment and to communicate effectively with engineering teams and co-workers is a must.

This role requires a Front Half Nights compressed work-week schedule (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday night). Shift 4 (nights).
This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a non-STEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a bachelor's degree and less than three years' experience.

- Perform functions associated with fab operations, equipment, manufacturing support, and training.
- Responsible for operations, structured troubleshooting of complex equipment, coordination and documentation of issues and improvements to engineering teams and reviewing equipment health and stability.
- Responsible for training, certification and buddy activities for complex operational procedures for equipment and manufacturing processes and responses.
- Work is complex and highly varied and may range from following defined procedures and response flows to diagnosing, debugging, escalating, and potentially independently solving complex problems which may involve equipment, automation, and other factory infrastructure.
- May work with engineering to identify and develop processes and procedures to implement new equipment and techniques as well as refine and improve procedures and operations for existing equipment and techniques.

Minimum Qualifications:
- US Citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Active US Government Security Clearance.
- Highschool Diploma and 4+ years' experience in semiconductor or other related technical manufacturing OR a AA/AS in a technical field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active US Government Security Clearance.
Experience/demonstrated skills in the following:
- Metrology techniques (Laser Optics, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Digital Signal Processing and Image Processing).
- Statistical Process Control SPC or Design of Experiments (DOE) principles. Equipment skills and experience maintaining semiconductor equipment in a FAB or Lab.
- Demonstration of experience and ability to work within a team in a complex environment.
- Experience with technical documentation, training and project management.
