Primary Function
Aviation Project Manager with demonstrated experience in project management and hands on experience integrating Fixed and Rotary Wing modifications, will serves as the key liaison between Yulista and its clients, ensuring seamless communication and coordination for assigned projects while providing advanced technical expertise in special mission aviation platforms, aircraft modifications, avionics integration, maintenance, and quality assurance. This position will be based out of Huntsville, AL and will report directly to the Yulista Solution LLC Principal Systems Engineer. Primary support of integration efforts for US Army PIF and other USG Aviation Weapons Platform Program Offices.
Essential Duties
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with proven experience executing project management tasks while also overseeing integration efforts and adherence to quality assurance practices, airworthiness standards, FAA 14 CFR (Parts 91, 145), military standards, and Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) requirements.

Adaptability regarding schedule and task changes is necessary to accommodate changing priorities. Essential Duties
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with proven experience executing project management tasks while also overseeing integration efforts and adherence to quality assurance practices, airworthiness standards, FAA 14 CFR (Parts 91, 145), military standards, and Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) requirements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Establish clear project objectives and prioritize tasks associated with aircraft modification programs, including structural changes, avionics upgrades, systems integration, and installation of mission-specific equipment (e.g., ISR sensors, communications, electronic warfare systems, or specialized payloads).
- Develops, modifies, and provides critical input into project and SIL integration plans, aligning them with program-level objectives and adjusting as necessary to accommodate changes in scope or resources
- Participate in design reviews, subcontractor statement of work development, program governance, and customer liaison activities.
- Perform applied engineering analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause corrective actions (RCCA) to resolve complex aircraft issues.
- Plan, coordinate, and support ground/flight testing, inspections, and system validation, including data collection and procedure adaptations.
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance practices, airworthiness standards, FAA 14 CFR (Parts 91, 145), military standards, and Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) requirements.
- Monitor program metrics, identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and drive process improvements.
- Mentor technicians and conduct safety briefs to promote best practices in situational awareness, corrosion control, and hazardous materials handling.

Must have proven strong knowledge of aircraft systems integration requirements and project management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Advanced expertise in aviation maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, avionics systems, aircraft structures, and FAA regulations.
- Strong project management, scheduling, cost control, and subcontractor oversight skills.
- Extensive capabilities in quality assurance, configuration management, and root cause corrective actions.
- Capacity to provide technical oversight for maintenance operations, flight line activities, safety of flight determinations, and issuance of special instructions as needed.
- Capacity to develop and implement comprehensive SIL and aircraft integration plans, ensuring all deliverables are ready for deployment on schedule and meet customer needs and specifications.
- Capacity to monitor project integration activities and potential risks, taking proactive steps to elevate risks and aid in minimizing the impact on timelines, budgets, or outcomes.
- Proficiency in avionics/electronics troubleshooting, installations, repairs, and modifications across multiple aircraft platforms.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CAD software, and configuration/product lifecycle management systems.
- Proven cross-functional communication, team leadership, and customer relationship skills.
- Strong commitment to safety excellence and continuous improvement.
- Capability to obtain and manage Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs)
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or Diploma in Avionics/Electronics, Aerospace Technology, or related field required.
- Minimum 15+ years experience in aviation maintenance, avionics, aircraft modifications, quality assurance, and special mission platforms (fixed-wing and rotary-wing).
- Demonstrated experience managing maintenance operations and deployed aircraft programs.
- Proven track record understanding quality assurance practices, standards and a heightened safety focus.
- Prior experience as an FAA Certified Organization Designation Authority (ODA)
- Currently licensed or having previously obtained FAA FCC license and Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) rating.
- Extensive knowledge of military, USG, and commercial aerospace standards of operation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship required.
- Trained in Aircraft corrosion control, and hazardous materials compliance.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
