RBR Technologies is looking for a Public Affairs Specialist to support our DISA/GSMO contract. An active TS/SCI clearance is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Public Affairs Officer (PAO) with the tracking of current operations that have the potential to impact the command and prepare/respond to requests for information from the news media
• Assist the PAO with support to media relations, public opinion and perception matters to the Corporate Communications Division to include planning, designing, and managing, and implementing of the command's media relations program to inform and educate the general and specialized public about the command's programs, services, capabilities, and activities
• Analyze public affairs campaigns in terms of their effectiveness in meeting the information needs of intended audiences and provide recommendations and support for all high profile engagements
• Support the PAO with DoD compliance policy governing the clearance and release of information to the public
• Provide, validate, and verify information defining the image of the Command and its leadership to external audiences that ensures a free flow of news and information to the Command. Assist the PAO with media, the appropriate forums, and the general public information
