Overview
NASK is expanding its mission-focused engineering team and seeking a Senior Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer to design, develop, and deliver signal processing solutions for the Intelligence and Defense communities. We are seeking a senior, hands-on engineer with deep expertise in C/C++ development of high-performance algorithms and a deep understanding of near real-time digital signal processing systems who has experience working in a larger team to deploy working code to cloud platforms using CI/CD processes. The ideal candidate leads by doing-reviewing code, unblocking technical issues, and mentoring junior engineers while remaining directly responsible for implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement advanced DSP algorithms for real-time and near real-time processing systems.
- Lead the maturation of algorithmic concepts from proof-of-concept through deployment in operational environments.
- Analyze, process, and identify RF signals across a variety of emitter types.
- Apply advanced signal processing techniques to address detection, estimation, matched filtering, waveform identification, and feature extraction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate DSP solutions into larger system architectures.
- Conduct performance analysis, optimization, and validation of algorithms in simulated and live environments.
- Contribute to system design reviews, technical documentation, and code management processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- 10+ years of experience developing RF signal collection, processing, and exploitation solutions.
- Proficient in C/C++ for high-performance algorithm development.
- Strong understanding of real-time systems and embedded software development.
- Experience supporting SIGINT systems development within the Intelligence or Defense community.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor ' s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of geolocation theory and techniques
- Experience operating in complex RF environments
- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or Octave for algorithm prototyping and analysis
