MANTECH seeks a highly skilled and mission-driven Senior Data Scientist to support mission-critical intelligence operations in Miami, Florida.

This role supports national security objectives by applying advanced data science, analytics, and GEOINT tradecraft across GEOINT, multi-INT, and enterprise-level analytic environments. You will work closely with analysts, operators, and mission partners to transform complex, multi-source data into actionable intelligence that supports operational planning and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • In this role, you will support the full analytic lifecycle and help operationalize advanced analytics to solve complex intelligence problems.
  • Build, maintain, analyze, and visualize GEOINT, SIGINT, OSINT, and multi-INT datasets to support descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analysis aligned to mission and operational requirements.
  • Apply advanced analytic methodologies, including statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining, to improve mission effectiveness and analytic rigor.
  • Conduct multi-INT research to augment imagery analysis, provide mission-specific context, and answer complex intelligence questions.
  • Develop analytic dashboards, applications, and visualizations, and communicate insights through clear briefings, demonstrations, training events, and formal analytic publications.
  • Operationalize analytic outputs by shaping results to directly support operational planning, decision-making, and intelligence production.
  • Collaborate with integrated analytic teams to solve mission-driven problems while identifying system enhancements, capability gaps, and emerging technologies that strengthen analytic workflows and mission delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, or 4+ years of equivalent military or intelligence community experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working with integrated analytic teams and applying documented analytic methodologies, including modern analytic tools to enhance workflow efficiency and rigor.
  • Experience in data mining, database manipulation, and maintaining structured analytic datasets, including proficiency in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and preparing structured and unstructured data for advanced analysis.
  • Experience with Python or R and scientific computing libraries such as NumPy and Pandas, applying machine learning and statistical modeling techniques including regression, clustering, classification, and time-series analysis.
  • Ability to evaluate model performance, conduct error analysis, and communicate analytic results clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with FADE tools, including MIST, INTELBOOK, LINX, and WATCH BOX, to discover, refine, and operationalize analytic insights.
  • Proficiency with statistical and visualization tools such as Tableau, MATLAB, Brewlytics, JEMA, and MapLarge to analyze and present large, complex datasets.
  • Experience with API-driven data ingestion, ETL pipelines, microservice-based analytic architectures, and distributed analytics frameworks such as Spark, Dask, or Ray.
  • Experience operationalizing analytic and machine learning models into repeatable, scalable pipelines supporting intelligence production, including deep learning and computer vision techniques such as convolutional neural networks, segmentation, and object detection applied to GEOINT or multi-INT datasets.
  • Knowledge of Structured Observation Management tools, Object-Based Production methodologies, and analytic standards.
  • Understanding of transnational criminal organizations and illicit production networks.
  • Experience developing new geospatial tradecraft, methods, or technologies from an operations research perspective.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical and analytic teams in solving complex intelligence problems.

Clearance Requirements:
  • An active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer.
  • Must be able to occasionally move about the work area to collaborate with team members and access mission systems.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, management, and customers to exchange accurate information and present analytic findings.
