Responsible for complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities associated with one or more technical areas within the telecom function such as, but not limited to, network design, engineering, implementation, or operations support.
Experience:
Previous experience in telecom infrastructure and IVR system implementation.
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting voice network issues.
Experience integrating IVR with databases and backend systems.
Technical Skills:
Active Public Trust, Secret Clearance or higher.
Experience with telecom systems, VoIP technologies, and PBX (Private Branch Exchange) systems.
Proficiency with IVR platforms (e.g., Concentrix, Genesys, Avaya, Cisco, or similar).
Familiarity with telephony protocols such as SIP, H.323, ISDN, and SS7.
Knowledge of call routing, CTI (Computer Telephony Integration), and speech recognition engines.
Ability to design, develop, and maintain IVR scripts and applications.
Experience with programming languages such as VXML, Java, Python, or similar.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Excellent communication skills for coordination with cross-functional teams and vendors.
Positive attitude and work well with others
Certifications (Preferred):
Certifications related to telecom (e.g., Cisco CCNA Collaboration, Avaya Certified Specialist) are advantageous.
