Description:
You will be the Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead for the Advanced Programs Line of Business at Lockheed Martin. Our team is responsible for the end to end development, verification, production and sustainment of high performance subsystems that power next generation defense and aerospace platforms.

What You Will Be Doing
As the IPT Lead you will provide technical leadership across the program lifecycle, driving design reviews, risk management and milestone execution. You will partner with engineering & technology leadership, program management and customers to ensure the multi year, phased program is properly staffed, resourced and on track for success. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading internal and external technical reviews, including Technical Interchange Meetings, Technical Readiness Reviews, Failure Review Boards, Risk Management Sessions and Mission Success Reviews.
• Coordinating weekly IPT status meetings and facilitating transparent communication among engineering, technology, program management and customer stakeholders.
• Ensuring all subsystem development, build and test activities meet program requirements, schedule and quality standards.
• Acting as the primary technical liaison between Engineering & Technology leadership and Program Management to align resources, staffing and milestone planning.
• Managing risk identification, mitigation planning and issue resolution throughout the program lifecycle.
• Supporting supplier site technical reviews and interfacing with external partners to validate design and production readiness.
• Providing clear, concise oral and written communication to senior leadership, customers and cross functional teams.
• Demonstrating Full Spectrum Leadership principles-vision, influence, empowerment, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Overseeing the planning and execution of verification and sustainment activities for assigned subsystems.
• Maintaining configuration control and documentation in Lockheed Martin PLM tools.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored Interim Secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline (STEM - Science, Engineering, Technology or Math).

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance, therefore you must be a US Citizen.

Minimal of 1+ years technical multidisciplinary project leadership experience for highly complex hardware, electronics, RF or mechanical projects with little oversight.

Experience managing budgets and utilizing forecasting resources.

Experience fostering close working relationships with associate IPT Leads, functional Managers, and customer counterparts.
Desired Skills:
An advanced degree in engineering from an accredited college or university is desired.

Experience in leading or presenting at technical reviews and boards is desired.

Experience with complex Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) and/or module subsystem development is desired.

Prior experience with active Radio Frequency (RF) module or subsystem development is highly desired.

Experience in planning and leading technical solutions from proposal through all aspects of development. This includes SRR, PDR, CDR, Qualification, System Verification & Test, FCA, and transition to production.

Working knowledge of dealing with subcontractors and subcontract technical management is a plus.

Experience in leading Failure Analysis and Failure Review Boards.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $120,100 - $208,150. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
