You will be the Project Engineer Staff within the LM Aeronautics Advanced Development Program (ADP) Skunkworks, where future technologies are utilized to solve tomorrow's problems.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Project Engineer Staff, your responsibilities will include:
• CAM duties (roughly 50%) involving analyzing cost, schedule and performance data, working in Jira, and the execution of other tasks as assigned. The results will the presented to management and customer.
• Assisting with the Software Integrated Product Team's (SW IPT) overall engineering technical, capability, and schedule performance on a specific ADP program.
• Coordinating planning, organization, integration and completion of software development projects within the SW IPT.
• Providing SW IPT progress and plans to SW Leadership.
• Instantiates solutions across all components of software systems through design, integration, implementation and support.
• Working closely with first and second line functional leaders to identify and secure appropriate staffing, coordinates with first line managers on proposed engineering staffing changes prior to changes.
• Leveraging proven processes, lessons learned, and best practices from other parts of business or industry.
• Ensuring program plans and technical baselines are consistent with Program Control processes and Modern Engineering Practices.
• Planning and formulating engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
• Coordinating activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.

Basic Qualifications:
• BS in Engineering STEM field
• Proven experience working with the Software lifecycle process
• Cost Account Manager (CAM) certification or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Experience with project management lifecycle steps and/or EVMS

Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with software development utilizing Agile processes and common technology stacks
• Ability to inclusively coordinate on projects of various complexity
• Familiarity with PM-4001 or AC-9337 (DevStar), Software Development Process (SDP), Configuration Management, Data Marking guidelines
• Experience with the development of new principles and theories
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) to prepare reports, graphs, and visual presentation aids, perform measurements and interpret data.
• Experience in project execution or program management (or similar role), supporting programs achieve their cost, schedule, and technical goals.
• Experience in project engineering activities including budget planning, cost analysis, proposal development, schedule management, and risk and opportunity management.
• Familiarity with Agile software development process.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
