You will be the Field Service Representative (FSR) for the HIMARS Program Team at Fort Drum, NY. Our team delivers world class support for the U.S. Marine Corps HIMARS/MLRS weapons system-designing, diagnosing, and repairing its electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical subsystems to keep the warfighter mission ready.
What You Will Be Doing
As the FSR you will be the frontline technical liaison between Lockheed Martin and the Marine Corps. You'll travel to OCONUS and war zone sites, troubleshoot system faults, perform repairs, and ensure flawless system performance while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Diagnose, isolate, and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues on HIMARS/MLRS platforms.
• Conduct on site testing, calibration, and functional verification of all system components.
• Provide technical briefings and status updates to the customer and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and update technical documentation in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Serve as the primary technical advocate for the customer, fostering strong, collaborative relationships.
• Deploy to OCONUS and combat zone locations as required, adhering to all safety and security protocols.
• Achieve and sustain a Secret clearance within 90 days of hire and obtain a valid passport within the first 60 days.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
o Troubleshooting: Diagnosing faults in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
o Repair & Replacement: Fixing or replacing faulty assemblies, modules, and cables.
o Maintenance: Performing unit-level to Depot level maintenance on launchers (M270, HIMARS), knowledge on test equipment, and ability to use training devices.
o Documentation: Completing maintenance forms, logs, and records. A working knowledge of Microsoft products.
o Technical Skills: Working with schematics, wiring diagrams, and specialized test equipment like the IETM.
o Quality Assurance & Safety: Conduct functional tests and post repair verification to ensure compliance with performance specifications and safety standards. Identify and report non conforming conditions; recommend corrective actions to senior leadership and engineering support.
Desired Skills:
o Logistics & Supply Support: Coordinate the requisition, receipt, and inventory control of spare parts, repair kits, and test equipment. Serve as a point of contact for export/import of critical support items when supporting forward deployed units or allied partners.
o Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain one within 90 days.
o Physical Requirements: Ability to lift ≥ 55 lb, work in confined spaces, and operate at heights as required by launcher maintenance.
o Liaison & Training: Coordinate and conduct briefings with senior levels of unit command and lower levels of unit personnel to include hip pocket training of the HIMARS fire control system. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
