Ryan Consulting Group is looking for a PowerApp Developer that will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. The position will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and leverage Power Platform tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents to create efficient and effective solutions. The right candidate has 3+ years of experience with the Power Platform, preferably in federal or DoD and sustained coding environments.

  • Provide design and implementation expertise to a cross-functional software development team.
  • Design and develop software applications from business requirements in collaboration with other team members.
  • Support testing and remediate defects.
  • May mentor entry and mid-level developers
  • Design and implement applications using the Power Platform, implement custom Microsoft PowerApps solutions tailored to meet client needs.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements for Power Platform solutions.
  • Design and implement custom applications leveraging PowerApps foundational technologies including connectors, forms, and flows, ensuring a user-friendly and intuitive interface.
  • Design and implement data models in Power BI
  • Create automated workflows using Power Automate
  • Design and architect solutions using Power Platform components to meet business needs.
  • Create data models, user interfaces, workflows, reports, and chatbots.
  • Develop custom applications using Power Apps
  • Integrate business processes, including SharePoint, Dynamics365, Power BI, Power Automate, and SQL Server
  • Participate in all levels of the project lifecycle, from design through implementation, and operations / maintenance.
  • Support development of technical solutions to meet customer requirements, and evaluation of alternate solutions and frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain concise end user documentation and runbooks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable and user-friendly applications.
  • Utilize canvas apps to create intuitive user interfaces and enhance user experience.
  • Conduct testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed applications.
  • Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and leverage Power Platform tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents to create efficient and effective solutions.
  • Utilize skills and knowledge in SharePoint 2013+, SharePoint Online and Power Automate workflows.
  • Will support the client in designing PowerApps architecture and implementation, supporting development of innovative applications on the Microsoft Power Platform that meet business objectives, solve complex problems, and deliver high value for customers.
  • Other duties as needed to meet customer expectations.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience developing applications using the Microsoft DOD 365-J Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and experience with Microsoft Azure services.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, or SQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Should be a Microsoft 365 Power User with expertise in using Power Automate, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Power Apps
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience developing workflows in Power Automate Workflows
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with SharePoint and must have a strong understanding of the various features, such as lists, libraries, content types, modern vs classic experiences, and permissions.
  • This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience with Power Apps
  • Minimum 2 years of client-facing experience
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information to a variety of audiences, including, but not limited to, non-technical stakeholders and business clients.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, perspectives, and stakeholder needs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent verbal, oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills, including technical writing.
  • Experience migrating legacy systems to Power Platform Solutions (PowerApps, Power Automate and Power BI)
  • Experience developing in a sustainment coding environment


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in a government or defense contracting environment, preferably with knowledge of DoD security requirements.
  • Design and implement applications using the Power Platform, implement custom Microsoft PowerApps solutions tailored to meet client needs.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements for Power Platform solutions.
