Job Description

**This position is contingent upon contract award**

SOSi is seeking a JIRA Administrator who will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing JIRA workflows and issue tracking systems to support organizational and project needs for our government customer. This role ensures effective integration with DevOps tools, supports Agile processes, and enhances system performance through dashboard customization and service-level agreement (SLA) monitoring.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Configure and maintain JIRA workflows, projects, and issue tracking systems.
  • Manage and optimize JIRA configurations to meet business and technical requirements.
  • Integrate JIRA with GitLab, Confluence, and other DevOps tools.
  • Support Agile methodologies and related project management practices.
  • Customize dashboards and reporting features to provide actionable insights.
  • Monitor and manage service-level agreements (SLAs) within JIRA environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to JIRA administration.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and project teams to improve processes and system functionality.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field OR five (5) years of equivalent experience in JIRA administration.
  • Demonstrated experience configuring and managing JIRA workflows.
  • Experience managing issue tracking systems and workflow automation.
  • Proficiency in JIRA administration, including workflow development and permission management.
  • Experience integrating JIRA with GitLab, Confluence, or other DevOps tools.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with dashboard customization and reporting.
  • Experience monitoring service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Atlassian Certified JIRA Administrator certification.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
