Job Description:
Searching for a talented entry level Systems Administrator to join the Managed Operational Support Services (OSS) team. Responsibilities for this position include supporting a Windows Domain, vulnerability and compliance remediation, physical and virtual Windows OS server support, application support, and physical and virtual desktop OS support.
  • This position is ONSITE in offices located in Melbourne, Florida
  • This role may require weekend, after-hours, or on-call rotations to meet program requirements and/or ongoing program support.
  • This position may require limited travel in an emergency
  • This position requires the ability to obtain FAA Public Trust Suitability
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Responsible for supporting the installation, configuration, and maintenance of workstations in accordance with established standards, policies, procedures, and configuration guidelines.
  • Support and maintenance of Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services, Group Policy, DHCP, Site and Services, Users and Computers.
  • Responsible for supporting the build, configuration, and maintenance of virtual compute environments using solutions like VMware vSphere and Horizon.
  • Support software installations, upgrades, and patching to operating systems maintaining them in accordance with established policies, procedures, and service level agreements.
  • Support routine hardware and software audits of workstations for compliance with established standards, policies, procedures, and configuration guidelines.
  • Support networking configurations associated with a LAN-based server and workstation implementations.
  • Strong listening skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills, be self-motivated and a self-starter, maintain a curiosity and desire to learn, and be able to work well in a team environment.
