Ensuring the financial integrity, timeliness, accuracy and validity of supporting managerial accounting, budget execution, and financial management reports.; 4. Reviewing and preparing responses to financial management policy and procedure audits.; 5. Providing technical and administrative oversight, advice and instruction to supervised employees.

- You will serve as the senior liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management policy and procedures within the organization.
- You will develop and render authoritative interpretations of executive orders, guidance within and across agency lines, and Departmental guidance.
- You will define objectives, interpret policy promulgated by senior authorities, and determine their effect on program needs.
- You will ensure the financial integrity, timeliness, accuracy and validity of supporting managerial accounting, budget execution, and financial management reports.
- You will direct and perform continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization.
- You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and provide recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas.
- You will isolate and define unknown conditions, resolve critical problems, and develop new theories concerning budget, accounting, and financial management programs.

- This is a Financial Management Level 3 Certified position per the National Defense Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. This certification level must be achieved within prescribe timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
