PRISM is seeking a Tanium Administrator with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Tanium. You will ensure secure, compliant, and efficient IT operations across a dynamic mission-critical environment by deploying and managing Tanium for endpoint security, compliance tracking, and IT hygiene-while supporting Agile-driven initiatives and coordinating through Jira. This position is 100% remote and requires East Coast operational hours.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tanium Platform Management: Deploy, configure, and support Tanium modules for asset discovery, compliance monitoring, vulnerability management, and patching.
Compliance Monitoring: Use Tanium to track and report on system and network compliance aligned with agency or DoD requirements (e.g., STIGs, NIST, RMF).
Endpoint Security Support: Monitor endpoint activity and health; investigate and coordinate remediation of endpoint security vulnerabilities.
Collaboration & Agile Practices: Work as part of an Agile team, participate in ceremonies, and track work/tickets using Jira.
Reporting & Documentation: Develop and maintain dashboards, compliance reports, and user guides; escalate issues as needed.
Continuous Improvement: Share knowledge and contribute to workflow optimization, process improvement, and team documentation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (SKILLS/EDUCATION):
Three years of hands-on Tanium experience in DoD or other mission-critical agency environments by deploying and managing Tanium for endpoint security,
8570-8140 Compliant IAT II (CompTIA Security +CE or similar)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented with a focus on operational excellence.
Skilled communicator, able to collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and mission teams.
Proactive learner-stays current on Tanium and security operations best practices.
