Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO) Tool Developer
Clearance requirements: US Citizens with ability to get cleared
Location: Sterling, VA, hybrid work
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Junior–Mid Level Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO) Tool Developer to support the design, development, and testing of custom cyber capabilities for Windows and Linux platforms across x86_64 and ARM64 architectures. The ideal candidate has strong systems programming fundamentals and an interest in low-level security research and operational tooling.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, test, and maintain custom OCO tooling for Windows and Linux environments.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code in C/C++, Rust, or similar languages.
• Assist in developing capabilities involving process interaction, memory operations, and secure communications.
• Debug and troubleshoot low-level issues.
• Maintain awareness of evolving platform mitigations and defensive controls.
Qualifications
• 2–5 years of professional software development experience (or equivalent advanced academic experience).
• Strong proficiency in at least one systems programming language (C, C++, or Rust preferred).
• Experience developing software on Windows and/or Linux platforms.
• Understanding of operating system fundamentals (processes, threads, memory management, system calls).
• Familiarity with debugging tools (e.g., WinDbg, GDB, LLDB).
• Experience using Git and modern build systems.
• Willingness to be submitted for a TS/SCI security clearance.
Technologies
C / C++, Rust, Python, Go, Ghidra, Windows internals or Linux syscall familiarity, x86_64 or ARM64 assembly a plus
