Essential Responsibilities:
- Actively manage enterprise computer systems and networks, analyzing technical issues, and developing and implementing corrective actions.
- Observe and interpret visual outputs indicating the operating status of systems and network components for designated computer network infrastructure.
- Translate user requests into technical diagnoses, then apply diagnoses to develop technical solutions to meet user needs.
- Develop strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture/technology with minimal impact.
- Evaluate new technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions.
Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- Must have experience in network or system administration.
- Strong Linux experience.
- Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management. Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.
- Experience setting up storage such as network-attached storage.
- Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance. Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C.
Clearance Required: TS/SCI Poly
Minimum Experience/Education:
- Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered.
- Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related
Required Certifications:
- DoD 8570.1 compliant IAM Level I certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- JavaScript, React, experience migrating existing applications to newer technologies, experience working directly with customers to implement solutions for their processes.
