Job Description

As a Security Officer Flex Building Access Control in Lake Forest, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and monitor assigned areas for unusual activity. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aviation and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, hangar and/or lab areas, parking lots, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify credentials as required, and document entries, exits, and deliveries per site policy.
• Complete detailed reports of patrols, observations, and incidents, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
