Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer to support a leading government contractor. The Senior Power Platform Developer role will be responsible for developing and supporting custom solutions using a variety of Power Platform applications.
Responsibilities of the Senior Power Platform Developer:
• Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into effective Power Platform solutions.
• Contribute across all phases of the software development life cycle using Agile practices, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Coordinate with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, configuration management, security, and other technical teams to ensure solutions are fully integrated and compliant with organizational standards.
• Research, design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications, reports, and workflows using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power BI, Power Apps (Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Power Pages), Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Develop and support custom solutions, integrations, and interfaces that streamline business processes and improve productivity.
• Design end-to-end low-code and no-code solutions that improve collaboration, automate workflows, and enhance knowledge sharing across the organization.
• Assist with the modernization of existing applications and migration of legacy solutions onto the Power Platform.
Qualifications of the Senior Power Platform Developer:
• 9+ years of experience in general solutions design and development.
• 5+ years of focused experience as a Microsoft Power Platform Developer.
• Hands-on expertise with Power BI, Power Apps (Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Power Pages), Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be able to obtain a Level 5 Public Trust clearance (requires residency in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years).
Experience with Jira for Agile project tracking and collaboration.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and data migration initiatives.
Compensation for the Senior Power Platform Developer includes:
• Salary range: $110,000 - $130,000
