I2X Technologies is seeking a System Operator to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance.

• The System Test Team conducts the planning and analysis of all Missile Defense System ground tests and flight tests in which the program is a participant.
• Ground test types include pairwise tests, Continuous Developmental Integration (CDI), Integrated Ground Test (GTI), Distributed Ground Test (GTD), cyber tests, Space Domain Awareness (SDA), and pre-flight test HWIL efforts.
  • Flight tests are conducted with pre-determined sensors and shooters.
  • International events are comprised of various ground tests and flight tests.
• The System Operator will support the System Test & Integration group as a system operator; configuring and running systems, servers, and other components during ground tests in an HWIL environment and eventually the Operational environment.
• The collection and staging of data will also be performed in coordination with the System Test Data Manager.
• Ideally, in parallel the candidate will become knowledgeable in the architecture, network, and data flows of the complex system and its interoperability with other Missile Defense System sensors, shooters, and elements; providing an opportunity to evolve into a System Integrator.
• The Integration group is responsible for ensuring systems are successfully integrated prior to test events or operational fielding.
• Another growth opportunity is with the System Test Engineer group; this team is responsible for the detailed planning and execution of ground- and flight tests, including production of all required test artifacts.

Qualifications

• Entry-level to experienced, but still a learner typically with an advanced degree and 0 years experience or bachelors degree and 0-2+ years experience or equivalent; some use and/or application of technical principles, theories, and concepts; develops solutions to problems of limited to moderate scope and complexity; work may be closely supervised while following specific, detailed instructions or under general supervision; failure to achieve results may result in the allocation of additional resources and cause delays in program schedules; contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, project leaders and internal to company or group with infrequent customer contacts.
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Desire to quickly expand knowledge while supporting a large, complex system
• Ability to configure, run, and collect data from servers, NASs, etc.,
• Prior basic system troubleshooting experience

The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
