Northrop Grumman's Corporate sector is looking for a Change Management Practitioner (Level 2 or 3) to join our Change Management team.
The Change Management Practitioner is responsible for developing and executing on change management plans that enable the organization to achieve strategic goals while minimizing disruption and maximizing employee adoption.
This position will be virtual remote and preferred to be located near an existing Northrop Grumman facility within the continental United States. Teleworking arrangements are subject to change based on the needs of the business.

Primary Level Salary Range: $69,000.00 - $103,400.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $85,600.00 - $128,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support medium to large change management efforts that have people, process and technology implications
- Apply PROSCI change management processes / tools to develop and implement effective change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption, improve organization performance, and increase operational efficiencies
- Integrate change management activities into project plans; provide subject matter expertise, coaching and guidance to assigned teams
- Conduct change management assessments, including impact analysis, change readiness, stakeholder identification and develop appropriate plans and countermeasures
- Identify, assess and prepare risk mitigation tactics, including plans to manage anticipated resistance to change
- Partner with stakeholders and team members to coordinate efforts to achieve objectives
- Identify communication and training needs and work with key partners to develop plans
- Define success metrics and monitor progress against goals across the change management portfolio and recommend enhancements
Basic Qualifications for Level 2:
- Bachelor's degree required plus a minimum of 2 years of experience in change management, organization effectiveness, digital transformation consulting, and enabling large-scale business transformation initiatives OR Master's degree
- Practical experience in a broad range of organizational design and change management principles, methodologies and tools; strong understanding of how people work (e.g., human centered design approach) through the change process with deep implementation experience
- Practical experience managing projects and serving as the change management subject matter expert on project teams
- Ability to collaborate, lead, and build rapport across all levels of the organization to include C-level executives
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, SharePoint)
Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
- Bachelor's degree required plus a minimum of 5 years of experience in change management, organization effectiveness, digital transformation consulting, and enabling large-scale business transformation initiatives OR Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in change management, organization effectiveness, digital transformation consulting, and enabling large-scale business transformation initiatives
- Practical experience in a broad range of organizational design and change management principles, methodologies and tools; strong understanding of how people work (e.g., human centered design approach) through the change process with deep implementation experience
- Practical experience managing projects and serving as the change management subject matter expert on project teams
- Ability to collaborate, lead, and build rapport across all levels of the organization to include C-level executives
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, SharePoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience supporting medium to large efforts at a large company
- Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci or other CM designation) highly desired
- Acute business acumen and critical thinker with demonstrated understanding of organizational issues and challenges
- Ability to clearly and succinctly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Exceptional relationship building skills and ability to influence decision making without direct authority at all levels of the organization
- Collaborative team player, highly capable of working with and through others
- Forward looking problem solver, capable of identifying root causes, appropriate mitigation plans and grounded in the academic/theory but with practical implementation approaches
- Flexible, adaptable, agile and resilient; ability to work in ambiguous situations
- Organized with demonstrated strength in strategy planning and tactics
- Previous experience in the Aerospace & Defense or large consulting firm with deep implementation experience
