This position supports the development and sustainment of Lockheed Martin's Unmanned Surface Vehicle / Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (USV/UUV) portfolio out of Palm Beach, FL. The USV/UUV portfolio represents an exciting, dynamic and growing capability for our customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Project Engineer plans, organizes, and develops logistics products to support USV/UUV system development, training, and sustainment.
- Responsible for working under general direction in a multi-functional team to develop and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and support analyses.
- Successful candidate will cultivate knowledge through technical writing to develop and maintain written documentation for the operation, troubleshooting, component/assembly removal and installation, and Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB) structure for various systems.
- Work with minimum direction to format, write, edit, and publish operations and maintenance technical manuals and other technical documents using Arbortext Editor and Microsoft Word.
- Support of; sustainment proposal activities, depot operations, spares management, logistics product scheduling, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
Security Clearance: Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph security clearance
Must possess the ability to work from engineering drawings
Ability to work effectively with a variety of logistics, supportability, electrical, mechanical, software, and systems engineering personnel to develop, review, and approve technical documentation content
Working knowledge of applicable military standards and specifications
Desired Skills:
Ability to work from Lockheed Martin and vendor-produced mechanical and electrical engineering drawings
Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical maintenance experience is a plus
Excellent communication skills
MS Office proficient
Ability to work in a team environment
Experienced with Arbortext Editor
Experience with Undersea ROV and/or UUV systems
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
