MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior DevOps Developer to join our team in Chantilly, VA or Denver, CO.
This role supports key development and operational efforts and will contribute to designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions that align with mission needs and enterprise best practices.

This role supports key development and operational efforts and will contribute to designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions that align with mission needs and enterprise best practices.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications and platform services, including configuration, report development, automation, and data migration where applicable
- Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable, repeatable, and secure software deployments
- Identify and implement DevOps and industry best-practice solutions to address client and mission requirements
- Perform custom development and third-party system integrations
- Support infrastructure-as-code (IaC) efforts using automation and configuration management tools
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshoot and resolve code and deployment defects
- Migrate and deploy code changes across development, test, and production environments
- Assist with technical design, architecture reviews, and system documentation
- Collaborate with developers, system administrators, cybersecurity personnel, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions that support business and mission requirements
- Support monitoring, logging, and performance tuning to ensure system reliability and availability
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 4+ additional years of IT experience in lieu of a degree
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience supporting large, complex software development projects
- Experience developing Service Catalogs and ServiceNow workflows
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language such as Ruby, Python, Perl, Bash, or JavaScript
- Experience with DevOps tools and technologies such as version control systems, build tools, and deployment automation
- IAT Level II certification (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) and containerization technologies
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools
- Certified ServiceNow Administrator (CSA)
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, and/or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations
