Apogee Solutions is seeking multiple Fires Concepts Specialist to support the United States Army Training & Transformation Command (T2COM) Fires Future Capabilities Directorate (FCD), Concept Division at Fort Sill, OK. Qualified candidates must have SECRET clearance.
The Fires Concept Specialist will be responsible for developing, refining, and drafting Concepts of Operations (CONOP) documents. The T2COM Fires FCD is responsible for overseeing the Army's capstone and Operational Concepts necessary for the refinement of the Army's Concept for Fires, Fires Force Design, and strategies.
The Fires Concepts Specialist will:
Serve as a member of working groups to write and draft revisions of Fires Concepts Documents including Fires Functional Appraisement, Future Capability Workbooks, and Concept of Operations documents.
Develop, refine, and draft CONOP documents, incorporating feedback and input from key stakeholders throughout the development of the CONOP.
The Contractor shall review and comment on other concept documents, draft field manuals, white papers, and other draft capability development documents to support current and future capabilities development efforts.
Participate in learning events, such as wargames, experiments, TTXs, seminars, Threat Based Assessments, as a Fires SME by providing input to and drafting operational scenarios and learning demands for use in experimentation and other learning venues.
Participate in preparation events including planning meetings and action officer level working groups for learning events.
Required Experience:
Active DOD SECRET Clearance
Bachelor's degree from and accredited university
A minimum of 15 years experience within the DoD with at least 10 years' experience in Field Artillery or Air Defense Artillery
At least 2 years' experience in the development review and staffing of Field Artillery or Air Defense Artillery related documents and publications
