Peerless seeks a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support corporate and customer financial planning, execution, reporting, and analysis. The successful candidate will assist with financial strategy development, budget formulation, fund execution tracking, and data-driven decision support in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment. The Financial Analyst provides financial planning support through the establishment of financial structures, execution of financial processes, and detailed reporting and analysis. This role monitors and reports fund execution, gathers and analyzes financial data, supports internal and external data calls, and advises management on trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. The analyst works closely with management and financial teams to assess workloads, develop budgets and operating plans, track expenditures, and ensure compliance with applicable policies, guidance, and regulations.
Requirements
High School diploma
2–5 years of financial analysis or related experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Experience reviewing travel orders in the Defense Travel System (DTS)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience researching Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs)
Experience supporting de-obligations and resolving financial discrepancies
Familiarity with government financial policies, guidance, and directives
Experience preparing and maintaining funding authorizations (e.g., NWA/NWA-equivalent documents)
Experience supporting program or project-based financial portfolios
