Job Summary:
We are seeking an Operations Program Manager (OPM) to support the New Product Introduction group at our Cedar Rapids, Iowa facility. This position plays a critical strategic role in driving operational excellence through the planning, management, and execution of initiatives aligned with overall business objectives. The ideal candidate is a strategic and innovative thinker who collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to foster a high-performance culture and achieve operational success.
This position is first shift working a 5/40 work schedule.
The Operations Program Manager serves as the primary liaison among Program Management, Quality, Engineering Design, and Operations as program designs are validated through Pilot Line activities and transitioned to full-rate production in alignment with customer demand. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Full-Time Salary Range: $107359 - $182510
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain and Procurement teams to develop and execute supply chain strategies focused on cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
- Develop, prepare, and implement comprehensive project execution plans, identifying the technical, manufacturing, and business resources required for program success.
- Manage program budgets, quality metrics, and schedules to ensure achievement of all program deliverables.
- Identify program issues and lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing solutions that support productivity, affordability, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Provide guidance to project teams in identifying the need for technical support and data-driven decision making.
- Ensure program forecasts are maintained accurately and that manufacturing teams are informed of future demand and workforce requirements.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate technical and schedule risks to program execution.
- Interface with Product Line leadership to coordinate and prioritize production activities.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- A minimum of 3 years operations experience
- Experience leading in a cross-functional team environment, with a customer-focused approach
- An aptitude for continuous improvement in serving internal and external customers
- Strong diplomatic, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Experience managing and reporting status of projects within a project management discipline
- Provide strategic contributions while successfully executing on tactical objectives
- Must be willing to travel up to 10%.
- Ability to adapt and lead change, build trusted relationships, and influence.
- Ability to acquire a security clearance
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 5+ year of New Product Introduction experience
- Strategic Development
- Experience working on development programs
- Experience leading large cross function teams
- Lean and Six-Sigma experience
- Proficiency in office technologies including MS Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint; Visio
- Proficiency with continuous process improvement methodologies and tool; strong group facilitation skills
