What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Perform armed patrol duties, including regular and random patrols of buildings, data halls, parking areas, and the perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access control points, visitor processing, and alarm and/or camera systems, and document unusual conditions for follow-up.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing timely notifications to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
- Prepare clear, detailed reports and activity logs, and communicate security-related information during shift turnovers and/or post updates.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
- Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Baton certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
