Job Description

As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed, primarily driving patrol officer at an advanced aerospace and defense location, you will perform mobile and foot patrols, check doors and critical areas, manage access control points, and document security-related activity. You will help to deter incidents through a visible presence, strong communication, and professional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and personnel by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document actions taken per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Control access by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, and directing visitors and deliveries according to site requirements.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
