Amentum is currently looking for a First Class Engineer to support operations in Washington, DC.
The Engineer First Class is a senior-level, licensed professional responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of complex building mechanical systems. This role oversees the maintenance, monitoring, and repair of equipment, including boilers, HVAC systems, electrical components, and other critical infrastructure.
The Engineer First Class performs advanced troubleshooting, conducts preventative and corrective maintenance, and ensures full compliance with all applicable safety regulations, codes, and standards. This position operates with a high degree of independence and frequently provides guidance, oversight, and technical support to junior engineering staff. The Engineer First Class plays a key part in maintaining operational reliability, optimizing system performance, and supporting the overall functionality of building operations.
Minimum Qualifications
• Requires a Secret Clearance
• Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university or college.
• Requires a Stationary Engineer Grade 1 License in MD or DC.
• 7-10 years of experience in Engineering Services
Compensation Details:
$170,000-$190,000
