Fire Field Supervisor

Job Title: Fire Field Supervisor (NICET II)
Location: Lenoir, NC
Employment Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time
Compensation: $70,000-$90,000 annually (DOE) + benefits
Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fire Field Supervisor to oversee fire alarm and/or fire sprinkler field operations across commercial, industrial, and data center environments in the Lenoir, NC area. This role is hands-on and leadership-focused, responsible for supervising technicians, ensuring code compliance, and delivering high-quality installations and service work. NICET Level II certification is required.
Data center experience is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise fire alarm and/or fire sprinkler installation, service, and inspection work, including mission-critical and data center facilities
  
• Lead, mentor, and schedule field technicians to meet project timelines and quality standards
  
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, local AHJs, and data center safety and access protocols
  
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and inspections with customers, AHJs, and site stakeholders
  
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and support final system acceptance
  
• Review drawings, scopes, and schedules to keep projects on track
  
• Maintain accurate job documentation, reporting, and closeout packages
  
• Enforce safety policies and best practices on all job sites

Qualifications

• NICET Level II certification (Fire Alarm and/or Fire Sprinkler)
  
• 5+ years of experience in fire protection systems installation and/or service
  
• Experience working in data centers or other mission-critical facilities preferred
  
• Prior supervisory or lead technician experience preferred
  
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA codes and local fire codes
  
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
  
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
