About The Role

Peraton is seeking a Systems Architect / Continuous Improvement Lead . The Systems Architect / Continuous Improvement Lead will perform the following duties but not limited too:

This position is 100% remote
  • The Systems Architect is responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable, and resilient systems that enable operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • During the transition, they will collaborate with stakeholders to analyze existing documentation, assess current-state systems, and identify opportunities to optimize processes and system performance.
  • This includes architecting and refining CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable, and secure application delivery while embedding automation and security controls throughout the development lifecycle.
  • By integrating DevSecOps principles across development, security, and operations teams
  • Lead efforts to foster collaboration, streamline workflows, and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Responsibilities include conducting vulnerability assessments, embedding compliance and risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring the architecture supports scalability, flexibility, and security.
  • Additionally, the role promotes iterative development and continuous review to drive operational improvements and maintain alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have active Public Trust clearance.
  • Experience with analyzing documentation, current state systems
  • Experience architecting and refining pipelines

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
